How the community tier list works
Anyone who makes a list on the All players tier list maker can add it here. Each list's rows count by where they sit, top to bottom, whatever they are called: the top row counts as S, the bottom row as D, and the rows between are spread evenly. A player's tier is the average of every list that placed them, rounded to the nearest tier.
A placement two or more tiers from where most lists put a player is left out of the average, as long as the lists near the middle outnumber those far from it at least two to one. A stray D cannot sink a player everyone else has in S, and a real split between fans still counts in full.
Each person counts once. Adding a new list replaces your old one, and a player you take off your board leaves your vote with them. Nobody shows until 5 lists have placed them, so one early list cannot decide where anyone sits.
Want your say? Make an All players tier list, rank at least 5 players across two tiers, and press Add this list to the community tier list under the board. Ranking on numbers instead? Every player ranked by official stats.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Haikyuu!! community tier list?
A tier list of every Haikyuu!! player made by fans. Every All players list added on Haikyuudle's tier list maker is averaged into this one board, and it updates every minute or so as new lists come in.
How do I add my tier list?
Rank at least 5 players across two tiers on the All players tier list maker, then press Add this list to the community tier list under the board. The first time you share or save a list there, the maker asks you too.
Can I change my list after adding it?
Yes. Change your board and press Update it in the community tier list. Your new list replaces your old one, so you only ever count once.
How is a player's tier worked out?
Each list's rows count by where they sit, top to bottom, whatever they are called: the top row counts as S, the bottom row as D, and the rows between are spread evenly. A player's tier here is the average of every list that placed them, rounded to the nearest tier.
Can one person drag a player down?
Not on their own. Each person counts once, and a placement two or more tiers from where most lists put a player is left out of the average while the lists near the middle outnumber those far from it at least two to one. A stray D cannot sink a player everyone else has in S, but a real split between fans still counts in full.
Why is a player missing?
A player shows once 5 lists have placed them, so one early list cannot decide where anyone sits. Until then they wait off the board, and the note under it says how many are waiting.
Do school and position tier lists count?
No, only All players lists. A Karasuno or setters list ranks a player against that group rather than the whole cast, so it would not average fairly with the rest. Use the filters here to see one school or position from the community's full ranking.
