Team building
Haikyuu!! Dream Team
Dream Team deals you a fresh draft every day. Seven positions, a pool of four players each, three rerolls, and one run at the Nationals Qualifiers. Get through and you are into a sixteen team Nationals bracket, one match at a time.
Every match is simulated point by point from your squad's stats, your captain and your rotation, so the team you build is the whole game. Everyone plays the same draw on the same day.

How a run works
- Draft seven players. Every position deals you a pool of four, fresh each day, and you get three rerolls.
- Name a captain. Their rating carries extra weight on the court.
- Set the rotation. Who starts front row and who starts back changes how the team plays.
- Play the Nationals Qualifiers, a four team bracket with a third place match and a repechage.
- Win through and you are in Nationals, sixteen teams from the Round of 16 to the final.
There are seven finishes, best to worst: Champion, Runner-up, Semi-finalist, Quarter-finalist, Round of 16, Nationals Qualifiers 3rd Place, Nationals Qualifiers 4th Place. Where you land decides the Rally Points the run pays, and playing at all keeps your Dream Team streak alive.
One run a day. Today's draw resets at midnight Sydney.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Dream Team?
You draft seven players from the day's pools, name a captain, set the rotation, then play the Nationals Qualifiers and, if you get through, Nationals. Every match simulates point by point and you watch it play out. One run a day, and everyone gets the same shot.
Can I pick any character I want?
No, and that is the game. Each of the seven positions deals you a pool of four players, drawn fresh every day, and you get three rerolls to spend across the whole draft. Working out the best team from the hand you are dealt is the puzzle.
What are the placements, best to worst?
Champion, Runner-up, Semi-finalist, Quarter-finalist, Round of 16, Nationals Qualifiers 3rd Place, Nationals Qualifiers 4th Place. Your finish decides the Rally Points the run pays and feeds your Dream Team streak.
Who am I playing against?
The opponents are 24 fictional schools spread across the prefectures, not the real Haikyu!! teams. A day draws fifteen of them, so a school you have met before turns up about two days in three, and its seven players are redrawn every time.
What is a Rival?
The school that knocks you out gets tagged as your Rival, and it stays tagged in the draw, the bracket and the match preview until you beat it. Beating it reads as revenge. The ledger is kept in your browser, so it does not follow you to another device.
Does Dream Team reset every day?
Yes, at midnight Sydney time. You get one run per day. A run in progress is kept in your browser until then, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
Is Haikyuudle official?
No. Haikyuudle is an unofficial fan project. Haikyu!! and its characters belong to Haruichi Furudate and Shueisha.
